A study from the CSJ estimates that there could be as many as 1.08 million people could be borrowing form loan sharks in England. This is over 700,000 more people than the most recent official estimate.
If these figures are extrapolated to take into account the population of Wales, there could be up to 60,000 victims of loan sharks in Wales!
